Overview
The thirty-third of the Thirty-six Lesser Grotto-Heavens, titled the “Heaven of Purple Mystery's Cavernous Radiance,” governed by the Immortal Perfected Gongsun. The Chart of the Palaces and Bureaus of Heaven and Earth states that it lies “in Dangyang County, Jingzhou”; it is now conjectured to correspond to the area of Mount Jing and Mount Zigai in Hubei, though the exact location remains undetermined.
