Same as above · The Grotto-Heavens and Blessed Lands system took shape in the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties; the roster of names was fixed in the Tang by Sima Chengzhen and Du Guangting. Present-day identifications are conjectural.

Overview

The thirteenth of the Thirty-six Lesser Grotto-Heavens, titled the "Heaven of Nurturing Life and Mysterious Ascent," governed by the immortal Hua Qiulin. The Chart of the Palaces and Bureaus of Heaven and Earth states it is "in Liling County, Tanzhou," today conjectured to be Liling, Hunan; some also identify it with Mount Wei in Ningxiang.
