Same as above · The Grotto-Heavens and Blessed Lands system took shape in the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties; the roster of names was fixed in the Tang by Sima Chengzhen and Du Guangting. Present-day identifications are conjectural.

Overview

The tenth of the Thirty-six Lesser Grotto-Heavens, titled the "Heaven of Ultimate Mystery and Great Origin," governed by the immortal Guo Hua. Today it is Mount Kuaiji in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, the site of the Cave of Yu; the mountain contains the Yangming Grotto-Heaven (the Longrui Palace on Mount Wanwei, a site for Tang- and Song-dynasty dragon-casting rites), where Wang Shouren of the Ming lectured.
