The seventh of the Thirty-six Lesser Grotto-Heavens, titled the "Grotto-Heaven of Empty Tomb," governed by the immortal Tang Lan. This is Mount Emei in Sichuan, a renowned Daoist mountain before the Tang, which after the Song gradually became a site of Buddhist practice associated with Samantabhadra (Puxian). See the appendix entry "Mount Emei" for further detail.
