Same as above · The Grotto-Heavens and Blessed Lands system took shape in the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties; the roster of names was fixed in the Tang by Sima Chengzhen and Du Guangting. Present-day identifications are conjectural.

Overview

The fifth of the Thirty-six Lesser Grotto-Heavens, titled the "Grotto-Heaven of Assembled Mystery," governed by the immortal Zheng Zizhen. The Northern Marchmount, Mount Heng (Changshan), was identified in the Tang and Song with Mount Damao in Quyang, Hebei, and from the Qing onward worship shifted to Mount Heng in Hunyuan, Shanxi.
