Same as above · The Grotto-Heavens and Blessed Lands system took shape in the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties; the roster of names was fixed in the Tang by Sima Chengzhen and Du Guangting. Present-day identifications are conjectural.

Overview

The third of the Thirty-six Lesser Grotto-Heavens, titled the "Grotto-Heaven of Zhuling," governed by the immortal Shi Changsheng. This is the Southern Marchmount, Mount Heng; the Zhuling Cave is today identified with the Shuilian (Water Curtain) Cave. See the entry "Mount Heng (South)" for further detail.
