- Same as above · The system of Grotto-Heavens and Blessed Lands took shape during the Eastern Jin and the Southern Dynasties; the Tang Daoists Sima Chengzhen and Du Guangting fixed the list of names. The precise present-day location is a matter of scholarly conjecture.
Overview
The sixteenth of the Seventy-two Blessed Lands: "It lies south of Shan County, and is governed by the Perfected Wei Xianren." This is Mount Tianmu, the mountain of Li Bai's poem Meng you Tianmu yin liubie (梦游天姥吟留别, "A Song of a Dream Journey to Mount Tianmu, Written on Parting").
